We have not had a litter in our home since early 2018 due to large life changes. However we will have the occasional litter every few years to carry on our line for ourselves to keep a pup. Unfortunately that means we will not often have any puppies.
Check back for updates, as we will make announcements when plans are made. However we can be sure currently that we will not have a litter of our own until at LEAST 2023 but perhaps longer.
On occasion one of our co-owned females may have a litter, or our males will have sired a litter, and we will share that information here as well.
In the meantime, if you are currently looking for an akita puppy or adoptable adult, feel free to email us and we can point you in the right direction. We know of other breeders in IL and surrounding states, as well as ones further away that offer puppy transport. Likewise, in addition to be able to provide information on Akita rescues in the area, we are often contacted about adult akitas currently in homes that need new homes, and if you are looking for an adult we'd love to prevent these adults from being additional burden on the local rescues!
